Hey Jordan. Keep up the good work. I see you've been working hard. :) I will send you a picture to put on your blog.

Anonymous said...

so advertising on kiersten's blog hey? are you trying to take her readers away from her or what? stop it, it isn't working. you actually have to put some actual posts up in order for people to check this. and don't even bother posting the answers to kiersten's math homework. she was so done that like last week.... right kierst?? :) k- post already.

Kiersten said...

i was done like, two weeks ago, allesha. so he doesn't even need to worry about it - i got it covered. plus, he can't take my readers away if he doesn't post anything . . . it's not a threat as of now....

Anonymous said...

good job kiersten. i knew that you could do it. he probably was worrying about it for a long time, until you told him not to. what a good friend you are. pretty much we could start having tea with the queen here if you know what i mean.

Kiersten said...

do i ever know what you mean. i'm so up for that. she actually called today and invited us.

Anonymous said...

oh really? that is exciting, i mean, i didn't expect to hear from her back so soon. do you think we should start charging her the normal fare for using our services?? i mean even though she is somewhat special, doesn't mean we are going to give her the royal treatment or anything.

Kiersten said...

i was actually wondering the same thing. we might give her a discount because, i mean, she IS the queen, but come on, this is becoming a regular thing and i just can't keep up this good fried stuff with out a bit of compensation. you know?

Anonymous said...

i know hey? maybe we should raise our prices. i mean, so many people are calling us. we need to start booking way, way far in advance. perhaps start thinkng of pre-paying!!

Kiersten said...

or at least a down payment of 50 percent or SOMETHING. what about cancellations? that's not good for business, let me tell you.

Anonymous said...

you know cancelations are pretty bad for business, but then i don't mind too much, cause usually we are together by then, so it dosen't make things a big problem. you know?

Kiersten said...

good call. even though i wouldn't really appreciate someone cancelling, since you'll basically be living at my house soon, we can use the cancelation money for ice capps or something. so really, we always come out on top! we're such good partners.

Anonymous said...

well, we are supposed to be partners for life. remember that? and i don't think a canalation would be very good for someone. that would just mean that we are going to be less likely to take them out for another time. rescheduling can be tough, especially when there isn't a lot of empty spots.

Kiersten said...

i most definitely remember that we are partners for life, won't ever forget. i don't even have a pencil anymore to pencil people in. because 1) it's gone. i used it too much and 2) there is no room in my day planner. it's just useless to even try and reschedule. maybe for the new year, though.

Anonymous said...

yeah i suppose hey? oh and by the way, i sort of "gave" out a coupon-that has to be made still i guess to stephanie. mostly cause i kind of felt sorry for her when she told me that she was in your care group. not that it is a bad thing, it is just- remember our leader last year? i mean- sort of slacking cause i am pretty sure she owes us big time for being in her group almost every week. and we weren't skippers like that brittany taylor of the sorts.

Kiersten said...

i guess that's OK. Steph probably deserves that coupon. do i ever remember our leader . . . i blame her . . . except not . . . but it's just easier that way, you know? so i'll get right to making that one - kay?

Anonymous said...

yeah, i suppose. but i did tell her to ask you for one- and guess what? she called me a good friend. isn't she just so nice?? but i told her to ask you for the coupon, so i don't know if we should just freely give it to her you know? maybe if she asks.... we can't just be giving out coupons to anybody now can we?

Kiersten said...

those things are precious, like jewels. it's probably better to wait until she asks. that gives us some moving room - like if we just gave it to her, and someone else saw, then they'd want one, but if she asks and someone sees, we can just say, oh she asked, they're on backorder. or something along those lines. we can't just live our lives making coupons, hello!

Anonymous said...

but we could just find them. i am sure you know all about backoreder too hey? you are your orders.

Kiersten said...

oh. do i ever know about backorder. let me tell you. i'm good with orders, though. 160 styles of paper, ordered by yours truly. we could start making the coupons on nice paper, but we make so many that could get expensive!

Anonymous said...

that is for sure, and we can't make too many, cause then we won't make anything out of our services. i mean, what is in it for us if we did that??

Anonymous said...

opps, sorry that was me!!! i am creating a new blog with our cambodia pictures for some of our family who hasn't seen them.

Kiersten said...

we have to think about us, the business owners in this too. I mean i know that being a good friend is all about not thinking about yourself, but i mean, come on - we're running a business here. we can't just be all loosey-goosey in that!! we would never get ahead in the friend business.

ps: you should let me know when your cambodia page is done, i know i've seen all the pics before, but i'd love to just browse them once more! see the selection....

Anonymous said...

exactly my thinking. weird how we do that. but the friendship business is pretty hard stuff. you can't just go giving it away freely to just anybody. so when we are all each other has, then i guess we just have to make do right?

Kiersten said...

i guess so. when you're all each other has, there's no telling what you'll figure out about each other! i mean, it's a hard business to break in to, but once you're in, services are in high demand. we are of a high calibre friendship category - there's no way i'm just giving away something like that! it's a process.

Anonymous said...

well i am sure glad i got into this business even though we are so busy with it all. i thought of a better way to improve it too. after i am done my business degree, and you are all getting trained to pretty much own a business- not that we don't already own this one- but it would be so much better. we could possibly have more time, if we hold auditions or hire for positions that would attempt to replace us- then we would have more free time to spend with each other.

Kiersten said...

you're basically a genius. those interviews would be pretty grueling, though. not just anybody can be as good of friends as we are. it's an art, really. but i mean, hey, as long as we own this business, who's to say those people that we hire have to be exceptional? we could always train them, not that we'd have time to, but maybe we could pencil it in. we'd probably be too busy hanging out with eachother and getting caught up on eachother's lives, though. so the training will have to wait, i suppose.

Anonymous said...

no time is for sure. and the fact of the matter is, we don't have enough time to just hang out when we have to be everyone else's friend. i don't like that. and we would be getting caught up in each other's lives, because we don't see each other enough as it is. terrible. well that isn't terrible, but the fact of not seeing each other enough .... you know what i mean. basically you can read my mind and know so i don't have to explain myself. and i was thinking today how jordan is really good at keeping his blog up to date. good thing he has us to help him out. we are SUCH good friends. :)

Kiersten said...

haha we ARE such good friends, checking his blog AT LEAST once a day. but does he return the favour? no. i guess working all day tires someone out. i wouldn't know . . . anyways, it is quite terrible that we don't ever see eachother anymore, but a little something this Friday and a promise that i made a couple weeks ago seems like a prime time to fill eachother in. you know, like when i come over to drop off a certain gift-ish like item. and it's funny that you should mention that you don't need to explain yourself and that i can read your mind because i totally got it the first time! whoa baby, we're such good partners. anyways, i'm probably taking the bus on this adventure a la Friday . .. i'm just that good of a friend. what can i say? there's a reason we're in business together!

Anonymous said...

partners for life. what can we say?

well i don't know when i will talk to you before then, or what the plan of action is-- so we should just send each other telepathic messages tomorrow, perhaps around 11:30 am, works good for me. but you already knew that i am assuming. haha. pretty much we are awesome.

Anonymous said...

so, since jordan has his time wrong, right now is the time. except i am kind of busy worrying about how i am going to live through the end of this week. ah! i think after this i am going to sleep forever, so come and wake me up. :(

Kiersten said...

ok, i can do that. i think i got your telepathic message today! i was just sitting in math and then i started thinking about you and how i'm going to get money to ride the bus on friday. it was probably around 11:30 because then i went to the bathroom. it is written in my agenda! haha but i will be over on friday to wake you up from your slumber. what time should i arrive do you suppose?

Anonymous said...

don't even know. no clue what we are doing, i never asked. no time to think about it. i hate this. k gotta finish this project before morning time!

Kiersten said...

k, good luck!
just call me or i'll call you or whatever. i pretty much have you on speed dial. and by that i mean i don't even look at my fingers anymore when i dial your number.

Anonymous said...

your fingers are just that speedy huh? i had a good nap this afternoon, and now it is back to hitting the books. or should i say one book, and i don't really want to wreck it cause it was expensive.

Kiersten said...

maybe don't hit it. i know studying can be frustrating, but use a pillow or something. those books could basically be sold and the money could be used to feed a third world country for AT LEAST two months.

Anonymous said...

i know hey. so could the money that we never charged the queen and now she is trying to skip town. what is that??

Kiersten said...

lousy friend - that's what that is. maybe we could send her a bill. i mean, all you have to do is write QUEEN OF ENGLAND on the envelope and it will get to her. everyone knows where she lives.

Anonymous said...

no kidding. who does she think she is?? she should realize that she is priveledged to be spending any time with us at all. honeslty.

Kiersten said...

it's true. not everyone has that privilege and she's just doesn't even appreciate it! I'm pretty sure that we could fill that time anyways. there's like a thousand other people just lined up to spend time with us!

Anonymous said...

probably more than that. but who needs her really? i mean- we should just call up her sons since we have connections and have tea with the princes. then we they become kings- they will already be hooked on us and our zillion dollar business and of course- who could resist us? you are right. we are to modest.

Kiersten said...

I'd say, oh man. If we had tea with the princes, we'd be on the covers of magazines and then we could promote our business and then when our services get really popular, and we start making kajillions of dollars, we could just hand over the responsibilites to someone else and voila! problem solved! we'd have time and money. so we could go for ice capps or something. we can get by without the queen - it can be done.

Anonymous said...

that is a good idea. although the people spending their money on the magazines, might be using up what they could be paying us if they were using our services. hopefully that won't take away from business. altough it is good advertisment.

Kiersten said...

advertising does wonders. we could even do a radio broadcast if we got serious about it. and put up posters on light posts. or attach a ad to all of our outgoing emails. even better - we could spread the word via blogging. like advertise on someone else's blog and then lead them to think they are getting services, but really, that's not what's happening. they would get it from someone else, but never from the direct source. kinda like jordan and his "blogging". weird how i made that analogy, hey?

Anonymous said...

yeah wierd how that happens. but i think we need to look at a bigger picture here. i mean, who actually is going to read this blog with lack of posting? besides us keeping it going- just part of our job. but i am thinking huge. i say we get a blimp, or those airplanes that flies banners across the sky. of if we hired some jets out of a little bit of our profits, we could make them write the letters in the clouds. it is that simple.

Kiersten said...

i like the airplanes writing in the sky. very practical and affordable. we could even have a telethon or something. those always work out fantastically. i mean, we are quite busy, so naturally a telethon is the answer. just sitting around answering phones and listening to country music stars rock it. you know how it is.

Anonymous said...

yeah i know how that works. but we would probably need more than one channel. perhaps numerous channels of telethons. but we would have to make sure we secure those farmer vision channels for the less fortunate.

Kiersten said...

this is true, since people aren't updating their blogs, they're probably watching farmer vision . .. they have to be since they're using dial up as an excuse for not posting. i don't know, just a thought. maybe, we could do like a rent-a-channel. then, with all of our hard earned savings, we could rent all of them! it'd be easy as pie. but you know, pie isn't really that easy to make. it's actually kind of hard if you don't have the ready-made crust. so what's up with that saying??

Anonymous said...

why would we make a pie when we could just buy one? that would be much simpler. we could just buy a whole bakery for that matter.

Kiersten said...

buns, cookies, cakes - oh my! then we could bring them on our business trips and to our business meetings. maybe even have our logo icing-ed on them, it'd be a tasty way to get the word out.

Anonymous said...

i personally would prefer the donuts, considering we have them. but what bakery doens't? come on.

Kiersten said...

well, i suppose donuts could be done. i'm sure that the bakery that we buy out will be overflowing with goodness of the donut variety. we could even make donuts our business cards and throw them out of our hot air balloon.

Anonymous said...

the hot air balloon is a much better idea than the blimp. why didn't we think of it from the start. except i think we will be in need of more than one. then we could play catch from them to each other. that could be a fun coffee break.

Kiersten said...

coffee break . . . maybe, we could just invent this whole new business plan where our whole day is a coffee break, since we are the business founders. we're the brains behind this operation, so clearly, coffee breaks are neccessary. hot air balloons are neccessary as well. also, full time chefs who are waiting on demand, on the hot air balloons, to cook us up some tasty treats whenever we so desire. we've got to spend this money that we're making somehow.
plus, i talked to the princes, they said that their thursdays and saturdays are open for a business meeting. i said that saturday would be a tight squeeze for us, but possibly thursday?

Anonymous said...

you know saturdays never go good with us anyways. cause you have your side job on the side of that and i have mine. yours is in the mornings and mine is in the evenings. which for sure makes it hard to plan business trips and meetings and such.

Kiersten said...

that's for sure. i don't know if we'll ever get this meeting time straightened out. too much hassle. maybe i can think about it at my side job. or we could have a phone conference.

Anonymous said...

phone conferences are good. i totally wasn't joking about the business cards. those are good advertisments you know. and it is such a hassel to have a staff meeting too. we need to get on that. maybe we can do that "surprise attack" as a christmas present??

Kiersten said...

very creative, devious plan. i think that would be a perfect christmas present. we could even put a huge bow on the door or something. just TRYING to be good friends, you know? and i'm totally up for business cards, too. i think that'd be a great way to advertise. i hope we can get the letters that stick up and feel cool. those could amuse people for hours. i would know.

Anonymous said...

haha, it would almost be like those valintines we made for people this year. man, we were so nice.

Kiersten said...

i couldn't believe our generosity with those valentines. man, we gave up serious amounts of time to bring joy to valentine's day! just shows how committed we are to our business and our clients.

Anonymous said...

that did actually take up a lot of time. and we didn't even realize at the beginning. oh well. it was all for love:)

Kiersten said...

man, we have a lot of love, then. wowee. those valentines were just brimming with love and generosity. it's OK, we're professional friends.

Anonymous said...

that is for sure. that is why it is mandatory that we have so many business trips and meeting, etc. we don't want something bad to happen to the business. that would be tragety at its worst.

Kiersten said...

probably a tragedy and a half. if the business failed, whatever would we do?? the business could never fail, though. there's always SOMEBODY looking for a friend. but i mean, it's hard to fit them in between all of our mandatory, compulsary business trips and meetings. it's for the best of the clients. honest. we're just trying to be better friends.

Anonymous said...

i know. really it is all we got to offer. we just use what is given to us. whether that be from a scrapbook party with stickiness attached to it is a different story. no wait- it is the same thing. nevermind.

Kiersten said...

there are many different ways to have meetings . . . like in parks, or basements, or coffee establishments - usually of the Tim Horton's variety - or even church facilities. I mean, you have to use what you've got, and just turn that time into a meeting that will be beneficial to everyone. the clients will be grateful in the end, i know. we need to plan another business meeting soon . . . we should probably arrange that . . .

Anonymous said...

probably. since we are back to being whole friends for a while again. that is just what business partners do. and as i think i may have mentioned to you before- raspberry timmy ho's hot chocolate is amazing!!! and you know, i think that any clients are grateful for any services we provide. they have to be, what else do they have?

Kiersten said...

nothing. they are nothing without our services. i mean, they get quality time with US, of all people, plus food, most of the time. or shopping, or movie. i don't know what more a person could ask for.

Anonymous said...

really nothing else, cause if there was, we would have already thought of it!!

Kiersten said...

that is so true. i love being brilliant.

Anonymous said...

it just comes so naturally. i love that. good selection on our parts for us to pick each other hey?

JordanT said...

just give it up already

Anonymous said...

ew what are you doing commenting on here? it isn't like you go on your computer often and now you had to mess everything up. honeslty jordan.

Kiersten said...

so anyways, like i was saying - i love being awesome. it's just so awesome being awesome and having an awesome business partner who's awesome and being awesome together. and not interrupting other people's conversations because we're so awesome.

Anonymous said...

yeah so true. very rude to interupt important business meetings and always thinking that we are talking about him. we are so cool.

Kiersten said...

i like how everything is summed up in that one statement.

we are so cool.

must be true, we can't lie!

Anonymous said...

finally, i was wondering if we were still whole friends at the moment cause i could really use a whole friend. not just a half, but a whole. they aren't both good. well sort of...

Kiersten said...

we're definitely still whole friends . . . i hope, anyways. becuause whole friends are way better than half friends. i think, anyway . . . yes, whole friends are much better.

Anonymous said...

yes, well if you were a whole friend, i think that i would, like i already mentioned to you- divide you in half and then paste you to both sides of my hips. then we'd be doubly attached and you could save me from anyone!! my hero.

Kiersten said...

well, i do what i can, you know? i'm totally willing to make that sacrafice. it's not even a sacrafice because i'm just so used to being a hero! tada!!

Anonymous said...

and not just that, but also willing to sacrifice others to just for my sake. you are such a good friend. don't need to cross-examine that selection on my part.

Kiersten said...

well, you are an amazing selection of a friend - i couldn't just give that up now could i???

Anonymous said...

heck no. that would be probably impossible. most likely. you know.

Kiersten said...

oh, you bet i know. it's just one of those things you can't forget.

Anonymous said...

true true. and i will get to see you again tomorrow. how exciting. it has been two looonnnggg days already since we have been together.

Kiersten said...

i haven't seen you in a while since those two days!! what happened?? we should schedule a business meeting - and soon!

Anonymous said...

business meetings scheduled. thats right. it was plural.

Kiersten said...

well then! that's a relief to know someone's good with the scheduling!

Anonymous said...

basically i am back from vacation now. except it wasn't really a vacation because i was busy the whole time working really hard. so since i am back and you are a way better friend than me because you got sick from kara, we will have to plan a business meeting to fill in all our missing details really soon!!!

Kiersten said...

k - we'll have to communicate about that. ;)

Anonymous said...

i can ready your mind and i just knew you commented!! lol.

Kiersten said...

that's weird, b.c i read your mind just now - and voila! you commented! crazy.

Anonymous said...

haha funny the way that works. i like how we have such a vast way of communicating with each other. it works really good. really good selection.
